Saying Thank You to Your Wedding Crew

Your wedding party - your support system, confidants, and rally crew. These individuals are the ones who've ridden this whole wedding planning ride with you since the beginning, and will be the ones to help make your party, I mean reception the hopping event you want it to be. So why not show them your appreciation for playing such a crucial role in your wedding. Below are a few ways you can say "thank you" to your wedding party, along with a few tips from the gifting expert, the owner of favornirs: Chizoba.

Ways to say Thank You

Plan a spa day or pedicure/manicure treatment: Treating your bridal party to a spa day or nail treatment is a great way to help everyone relax and feel pampered. This is also a fun way to help everyone look and feel their best in preparation of your wedding day.

Have a bridal party brunch or night in: Hosting a special brunch or party can be a fun way to celebrate and have fun together. This can be a great way to help your wedding party grow closer together, or revisit the fun parts of your wedding day together.

Get them matching accessories: Matching accessories such as earrings, bracelets, or rings for the bridal party are an inexpensive way to show your appreciation and make your crew feel special. You can also go for matching clothes such as robes or slippers (these can be a fun photo-op the morning of your wedding as well)!

Give them a special role in the wedding: Giving each member of your bridal party a special role in the wedding, such as a reading or a speech will show them just how much you appreciate them. Other roles your bridal party do are:

-Greeting your guests and showing your grandparents where to sit

-In charge of handing out programs or confetti

-If they are musically talented they could perform something during the ceremony or reception

-Act as legal witnesses during the wedding ceremony

-Designate someone to be the "Captain Of The Dance Floor"

-Help as your the Day of Coordinator

-Decorate the ceremony or reception area (if they have good handwriting you could ask them to especially help you any handwritten signs)

Show your appreciation with a heartfelt note: Everyone likes to get a handwritten note. A heartfelt note from you to each of your bridal party members, expressing your gratitude and appreciation for all that they have done for you will mean the world to them.

Some other small ways you can show your appreciation as well is by being attentive and responsive to their needs, or just being there for them when they need you. Listening to them when they want to chat about other things (besides the wedding) can make a big difference in making them feel appreciated.

Now to share her thoughts about gift-giving here is Chizoba from Favornirs:

The Best Gifts

- The best gifts are gifts that are personalized and functional. When personalizing gifts, try and keep it classy without going overboard with event details, i.e- names, hashtags, dates etc. Colors, themes, detachable customization pieces, are just a few ways to add a personal touch. When thinking of functional gifts, think beyond the wedding. Think of practical items that can be used for a long time, yet at the same time a perfect keepsake to remember your special day (some fun ideas I've packaged for others include: customized bottle openers, key chains, towels, tumblers, make up bags, etc).

Wedding Welcome Gifts

- While gifting is never mandatory, it's always a nice gesture to give a gift, either as a welcome gift or wedding favor. Wedding welcome gifts, especially for your out-of-town guests or family members, are a great way to set the tone for the weekend. These are typically delivered to the hotels your guests will be at. A couple things to include are some edible snacks, a wedding itinerary, & a keepsake. This is also a great opportunity to shop locally, showcase small businesses, & share some of your favorite items.
